How we choose

Our picks are research-based. For every category we:

• Only include models sold in the EU with European 230 V outlets.
• Take specs and prices from the brands' official EU stores.
• Read the published reviews and owner feedback, and note where reviewers agree.
• Score each model on capacity and output per euro, battery type and lifespan, charging speed, weight and expandability.
• Revisit our picks when new models launch or prices change.
